Anna Silk
Anna Silk (born January 31 1974) is Anna Silk (born January 31, 1974) is a Canadian actress who is most well-known for her role as Bo from the Showcase television show Lost Girl. Silk was produced by Fredericton New Brunswick Canada. Ilkay who is producer and director of drama of drama and production at St. Thomas University, is Silk's mother. Silk's father Peter who was an academic, worked at St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna remembers watching her mother at work and attending play rehearsals. Silk appeared in several commercials as a child. The year 1997 was the time she received a bachelor's degree from St. Thomas University. Theatre St. Thomas was engaged in two early theater productions including Seven Menus (1997) and The Kitchen (1999). Silk moved from Toronto in November 1999 to Los Angeles California to pursue her career as an actor. Seth Cooperman was her future spouse when she first was introduced to him during an acting workshop located in Los Angeles. They got married in December 2009 following a civil ceremony. They renewed their vows April 10th, 2011 in Fredericton following the time that Silk was converted to Judaism. Silk was blessed with a son that was named Samuel Jerome Cooperman on May 13th 2013. Levi Aaron is her second son, born on the 13th May, 2016. Silk's TV work includes the role of Cassidy Holland in Being Erica and she won the Gemini Awards nomination in 2009. In 2009 she landed the lead role as Bo Dennis a succubus in the Canadian television series Lost Girl. Silk told fans of the show the joyous announcement that she became pregnant while filming Season 3 in an exclusive pre-show to promote Season Three. This was broadcasted by Showcase in a special Season Three show held January 6, 2013 before the series' premiere. Silk is involved in the production of Lost Girl since the third season finale episode premiered on January 6 2013, announced on Twitter her readiness to return on June 4, 2013 when Showcase and Prodigy Pictures began production of fourth season. CNN's Cable News Network named her performance as Bo as well as Lauren (Zoie Parker) in Lost Girl as same-sex couples as one of their most-loved television Couples. E! named them as the most popular TV Couple for 2013. Entertainment Television. Because of the popularity of the show, Silk has garnered a prominent internet following via social media.
